SLIGHTLY PUZZLED: ALGORITHMIC SURFACE MODEL FOR SLA PRINTING NEWEST UPDATE

Hi, this is a short update on my algorithmic surface model since the previous post was already too long. Thanks to Bryan showing me how to do this correctly last time, my design had a major glow up. I also changed the shape of the overall thing to something A LOT better💪 I am not completely done yet since I got stuck somewhere really stupid. I wanted to add a layer inside the design so that the puzzle pieces could have support to stick to:

Update:

right after birth:

I forgot to empty the support from the inside, so it was a struggle to take them out (I ended up just yanking them out and it worked thankfully)

I was a bit worried to sand it down so I used a fine sand paperand it worked out pretty well. I was able to get rid of the crumby parts.

Yayy!

QUESTUINABLE UPDATES: Puzzles Unite: ALGORITHMIC SURFACE MODELLING

Hello,

So I have been trying to work on my model further in order to be able to make it printable. I I initially tried to offset my shape but there was a problem

When I used offset, the puzzle pieces no longer fit together properly

I also tried having the puzzle piece on top of another solid shape and it didn't work well.

So I tried to work on a puzzle pattern instead. My first was unsuccessful and I did not even get the chance to take a picture of the final version before losing my progress. The reason it crashed was due to boolean union not working. So instead I thought it would be a good idea to set them as multiple geometry but NOPE it crashed :/

And currently, I'm about to lose my mind. I have no idea what is happening anymore. I just hope this works:
